Engage East Bay

Connecting Local Leaders to Nonprofit Board Opportunities

At the Contra Costa Economic Partnership we believe that engaged communities are thriving communities. We also know that nonprofit organizations are essential to addressing the most pressing issues facing the East Bay.

Yet many nonprofits struggle to recruit the board members they need to move their mission and our communities forward.

That’s why we founded Engage East Bay in 2022 alongside the East Bay Leadership Council and with the support of our sponsor, Marathon Martinez Renewable Fuels, with the goal of matching local leaders ready to make a difference with nonprofits seeking new board members.

We have designed two surveys to help us address this challenge. One designed for nonprofits to share what they are looking for in new board leaders and another for individuals to share their interests and professional skills.

Complete a survey below and help us create a more engaged community.

Take this survey if you are interested in serving on a local nonprofit’s board of directors. Completing the survey will take less than 5 minutes.

Take this survey if you are a nonprofit seeking new board members. Completing the survey should take less than 10 minutes.
